The Muslim Bangsamoro region in Mindanao
\nwitnessed a historic event on Thursday, September 11, marked by the delivery of
\nthe first official address by the Council of Scholars (SOUA), presented by the
\nRegional Mufti, Sheikh Abdul Raouf A. Guialani, at the Sharif Kabunsuan
\nCultural Complex in Cotabato City, the seat of the regional government<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The event brought together representatives
\nfrom ministries and government agencies, alongside prominent scholars,

A Strategic Vision for the Office of Fatwa<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In his address, Mufti Guialani presented the
\nscholars\u2019 future vision, emphasizing the need to strengthen the institutional
\nrole of the Office of Fatwa as a \u201chouse of opinion,\u201d expand religious guidance
\nand community service programs, and consolidate the scholars\u2019 contributions to
\npeacebuilding and interfaith coexistence<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He also highlighted the importance of
\nbalancing the preservation of Islamic values with supporting the Bangsamoro
\ngovernment\u2019s aspirations for good governance and comprehensive development<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In his speech, Prime Minister Abdul Raouf

\nhistoric event alongside the scholars, stressing that they serve as the compass
\nof faith and collective conscience, and that their wisdom and moral leadership
\nconstitute a foundational pillar for promoting unity and consolidating good
